Friday the 13th is usually a day that brings about thoughts of misfortune, bad luck and a very famous horror movie franchise. However this year was a different story! The Arthritis Foundation's annual Bone Bash was held at the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown and Dr. MaCalus V. Hogan was this year's medical honoree.
"It was truly an honor to accept this award, as it symbolizes the exceptional work of our department and the unwavering dedication we have to providing outstanding care to our patients," said Dr. Hogan.
The Bone Bash Gala is one of the largest fundraising events of the year for the Arthritis Foundation. Attended by many members of Pittsburgh’s medical, professional and social communities, the evening honors those living with arthritis and their medical providers. Proceeds support the Arthritis Foundation’s research, advocacy and public health programs.
